Provisioning in Bermuda??

I recently got a good question about where to provision in Bermuda? Can i get some feedback from the group?

Miles Market in Hamilton is the place. Great provisioning spot...everything you can think of for a cruise back to NA. They handle all of the Bermuda Races and have it down. Pricey but that's Bermuda. Go to http://www.miles.bm/Reborn-MilesVer3/index.html and click on "Miles to Go" than scroll down to Boat Provisioning. You can call ahead and they will have it ready for you. My guess is they will deliver though I have never done that as I like perusing the market. 5 stars.

Recommend picking it up rather than have it delivered. The cab ride will be a small percentage of the overall cost. The year I had it delivered it showed up by boat, thawed and late - delaying our departure.

Miles is a short walk from the Yacht Club, or a short cab ride from the Dinghy Club (walkable if you have the time). It's in Hamilton. HOWEVER, it's very expensive, even for Bermuda. Just at the other end of Front Street from the Yacht Club and Miles, and on the way to the Dinghy Club, is Supermart; another grocery store with MUCH better prices and more "common" foods (Miles is really more of a specialty store than a general grocer, imho. Supermart is sure to have everything you'd need at much less cost.
