In the obscure safety tips department: If you are using a police whistle as your sound signal, remember to put it in your mouth upside-down (with the opening on the bottom) to let the water drain out.

I agree with Jim. Once the race starts, 95 % of the work has been done; time to enjoy.
At this time of the year, Vivaldi is out of the water and I am thinking on budgeting, crew, any improvements on safety, preparation, preparation and preparation.
